The Kafue Trust is a
registered English
charity formed in 1997
to provide vital support
for Kafue National Park
(KNP) and surrounding
communities.
Our Mission is to mobilise professional assistance and financial resources for park management, wildlife
research, training for
natural resource conservation and development of sustainable livelihood
enterprises.
The Trust aims to assist
the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) to improve its operational capacity in KNP; to contribute to its management needs,
to develop tourism and
to enhance the well
being of the local people.

Training and Community Work

In the future we will be starting a safari-training project for newly qualified hotel and catering students.

We also wish to offer wildlife educational facilities for local children, both of these projects will take place during the green season.

Learn about community life and enjoy the folklore of the area. This area has views both upstream and downstream and is very different to the area around Mayukuyuku.
